The third shipment of aid to Iran on its way to the Libyan people


Iranian Red Crescent has sent today, Monday, the third shipment of humanitarian aid to Iran on a plane from the airport city of Karaj (30 km west of Tehran) to the Libyan people.

And said Secretary General of the Iranian Red Crescent Society "apparent Rostami" today that the shipment weighs about 40 tons and includes types of medicines and medical devices and has been sent for the first time directly to the Libyan territories, adding that the destination of the shipment and the airport city of Benghazi, Libya.

And Iran had earlier sent two shipments of humanitarian aid to the common border Libyan - Tunisian included food and medicine.
