Egyptian army deployed in the Sinai in preparation for Operation Eagle

Egyptian security officials announced that the tanks of the Egyptian army entered the region Zuid-Sheikh in the northern Sinai, about 15 km from the Gaza Strip in preparation for operations that target the perpetrators of attacks on the pipeline which supplies gas to the Israeli entity and police stations.

Witnesses said that "a number of armored vehicles entered Rafah, while other tanks are stationed in El Arish, about forty kilometers from the Gaza Strip, where militants attacked a police station two weeks ago, killing an officer and three civilians."
