Damascus accuses Washington of waging a war against diplomatic

Bashar Jaafari, Syria's ambassador to the UN Thursday that the United States of waging a "diplomatic war" against Syria jointly with other member states in the UN Security Council.
Jaafari also was asked whether he could confirm the comments by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was reported that he made during a telephone conversation on Wednesday with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that Damascus ended all military operations against protesters.
Jafari said, "It is already a reality on the ground ... operations of the army and the police stopped in Syria."
This pointed to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to the "Reform in Syria stems from the conviction of the Syrians and not in response to any external pressure", pointing out that his country "will remain a strong resistance and will not give up the dignity and sovereignty."
The Syrian president said that the targeting of his country today is very similar to what happened in 2003 in reference to the Syrian position that rejects the U.S. war in Iraq, and in 2005, referring to accuse Syria of assassinating former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
And Ray-Assad that this targeting is aimed at "weakening the role of Syria, Arabism resistor, and defender of the legitimate rights," asserting that "the Syrian people Bthoapth nationalism and national managed over the years to maintain Syria's position and fortify and protect them, and will remain so always important escalated external pressure."
The importance of the involvement of different segments of society in its diversity and at all levels with regard to the ideas proposed by Assad in his speech at Damascus University on 20 June for consideration of the Constitution all the way to achieve the aims of the Syrian citizen to make Syria a role model in the region, and this can not be achieved without the restoration of security and safety to the citizen and the elimination of the Syrian armed manifestations in all its forms.
