Venezuela to expel Israel's ambassador to protest Gaza offensive

Said British Broadcasting Corporation «BBC» Venezuela expelled the Israeli ambassador to the entity has, in protest against the Israeli military offensive on Gaza.

A Foreign Ministry statement said the Venezuelan Caracas decided to expel the Israeli Ambassador Shlomo Cohen entity and a part of the staff at the Embassy of this entity with reaffirmed its commitment to peace and to demand respect for international law.

The Venezuelan president, Hugo Chavez, has denounced the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip and the entity described as a killer, and the occupation involved in the process of genocide.

He said he should be referred to the President of the Israeli entity, the International Criminal Court in The Hague, after the Israeli attack on Gaza, adding that his country is trying to deliver food and medical aid to the population.

Meanwhile, the university announced a Canadian union that it intends to prevent the Israelis from teaching or lecturing in universities, the Canadian province of Ontario, to protest the Israeli offensive in Gaza, according to according to Canadian media.

The union is seeking to prevent the Israelis, who did not publicly condemn the bombing of the Islamic University in Gaza, condemned the Israeli attack on the Palestinian territories, from teaching.
