Iranian President will inaugurate development projects in Tajikistan

Said the Iranian ambassador to Tajikistan that President Ahmadinejad will be opened during his expected visit to this country, the first phase of the dam project and the plant to produce electric power and will sign several agreements to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

He felt that the draft Douste-establish a dam on the River Oukhc station and the construction of the Tudeh age 2 to generate electric power is for completion by the Iranian experts where the launch takes place during the visit of Iranian president to Tajikistan.

He continued, "that will take place during this visit, the signing of the project to build a power plant by Iranian experts over the River Zarafshan," adding that he will hold the Iranian President talks with his Tajik counterpart on ways to strengthen bilateral relations in all fields, in addition to regional and international issues of interest to the two countries.

He said the Iranian ambassador to Tajikistan, Ali Asghar Hardost that the cost of dam construction and plant age Tudeh 2, which produce 220 ​​megawatt of electricity, which started in 2006 reached $ 220 million, where Iran has given $ 180 million of loan long term to build this project.

The Iranian ambassador expressed his hope to end the problem of shortage of electric power in Tajikistan after the opening of the project.
